FOUNDER
It all begins with an idea. SSDW is Katie’s brainchild and passion. Mom of two young ones, she is dedicated to learning, understanding, and connecting with families to navigate the digital world.

Rachel Bradley
DIRECTOR, CLERK
Rachel is a mom of two young ones, one with special needs. She has extensive experience working with young children and was a preschool teacher.

Ngoc Dupont
DIRECTOR, TREASURER
Mom of three. Ngoc has over 2 decades of experience working with families and children as an elementary school teacher. After becoming a stay-at home-mom, Ngoc dedicates her time between volunteering at the local schools, working at the community gardens, and connecting with families to better understand the ever evolving world of technology. She is passionate about helping children and families connect through play, being outdoors, and getting involved in the community.

Heather is a mom of two young kids. She lives in Pembroke.

Erika Zinsmeister
DIRECTOR, COMMUNICATIONS & DEVELOPMENT
Erika is one half the equation of digital balance in a tech family household with two young children. She’s the bookish one, who, while data-driven, also has a deep love of nature, crafts, history, culture, and community building.

Laura Joyce
DIRECTOR, COMMUNITY OUTREACH
Laura brings her energy and enthusiasm to SSDW with over 20 years of experience in the fitness industry and as a longtime youth lacrosse coach. From toddler programs to competitive club teams, she loves helping kids discover joy and confidence through sport and teamwork. Her passion lies in building new connections and sharing her lifelong love of movement with people of all ages. Whether in the gym, on the field, or in nature, she’s dedicated to fostering resilience, fun, and community through active play.
